Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial artist who is who is a part of UFC. UFC in the Flyweight Division is currently a Kyrgyzstani. She is also the elder sister of former UFC Flyweight champ as well as fellow UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the event and beat Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina was awarded an award of Silver in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, and a Gold Medal in 2011 and in the IFMA 2016 Amateure Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia began her professional journey at the age of 23 in 2003. She has taken home numerous awards, such as the K-1 World Championships, Lion Fight Lightweight Championships, and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002, during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She took the title with a TKO at the end of round 2, and then won her two subsequent bouts, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. It gave her an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She returned against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina showed off her power of striking by tying Nievera using knees. Antonina Shevchenko was given a UFC contract following this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight with a unanimous decision. She was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko won her first three fights but then lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
